How to Apply for a New Permit?
1. Enter your property address in the bar below. Symbium will provide data about the property and assist you through the permit process.
2. When you're ready to apply, click on the applicable permit type under the Property Improvements section. See sample image below.
3. Answer some questions about your proposed system. See sample image below.
4. Review the analysis provided. Symbium will instantly check for compliance with State and local regulations and provides a detailed analysis of why (or why not) the project meets code requirements. See sample image below.
5. Pay your permit fees and obtain your permit instantly!
Please note that all inspections are scheduled through the Citizen Access Portal.
How to Apply for a Revision to a previously permitted Symbium Solar or Solar with ESS Permit
- Log into Symbium and select the original permit application for which you would like to revise.
- On the left side of the screen, select “Revisions” and then “Start New Revision”
- Revise the appropriate information that was previously permitted and provide a description in the Description of Revisions box.
- Pay the appropriate fee to Symbium and download all of your approved documents.
- Visit the Citizen Access Portal and log in to your account.
- Once logged in, under the “Building” tab, select “Create an Application” and proceed to the “Record Type” screen.
- On the “Record Type” screen, select "Revision/Addendum Request” at the bottom of the screen and proceed through the application process.
- When prompted choose “yes” that the permit was previously approved through Symbium, upload the appropriate documents, pay your fees, and your revised permit will be automatically issued by the City of Manteca.
