Services Provided

Residential refuse is collected every week in the brown carts. These carts should be placed in the gutter, 3 feet from any other cart and 5 feet from any parked vehicle.

Carts should be put out the night before collection or by 5:00 a.m. on the scheduled day for pickup. All cart lids need to be completely closed. Emptied carts must be put away within 24 hours as per City Municipal Code 13.02.160.

Garbage, recycling, and organic carts are only available in a standard size.  If you would like a 32-gallon cart, an application for an exemption must be turned in to the Solid Waste Division.  The rate for the garbage services will remain the same even if the application is approved.

Solid Waste Residential Charge:  $50.92
(Effective November 16, 2023 through December 31, 2024)
