The City of Manteca, in collaboration with San Joaquin County, Tracy, Lodi, Lathrop, and Patterson will be preparing Multi-Agency Post-Construction Development Standards to provide consistent guidance for municipal workers, developers and builders working in the region in implementing the requirements under the Statewide Small MS4 NPDES permit (2013-0001-DWQ).

The development standards, also known a post-construction stormwater requirements, will become part of each Partners land development process. The Standards will provide guidance source control, site design, low impact development, stormwater treatment and hydromodification management measures. These new requirements will change, and are intended to improve, the way we build or re-construct our community to better manage our stormwater resources in the future.

To facilitate the preparation of these Post-construction Development Standards, the City of Manteca, and its partners, will be holding stakeholder meetings and providing draft documents for review from which we are seeking to receive comments and feedback from the community and interested parties. Multiple stakeholder meetings will be held through-out the process of developing the Standards. It is intended that the stakeholder process will provide opportunities for interested stakeholders to learn about the regulatory requirements, provide input and comments, and otherwise help inform the development of the Standards.
