Residential Recycling
Residential recycling is picked up on a bi-weekly schedule, alternating with green waste. Residents are issued a medium sized recycling cart. Carts are to be placed in the gutter, 3 feet from other carts and 5 feet from any parked vehicles. Carts are to be put out the night before collection or by 5:00 a.m. on their scheduled pick-up date. Residents may request a second recycling cart at an additional charge by contacting the Finance Department.
Carts must be removed from the curb after pick-up. Failure to do so may result in a court appearance and/or fines.
In accordance with the Manteca Municipal code, Section 13.02.160 Refuse and recycling containers-Location. Paragraph D: Refuse and recycling containers shall not be placed at the curb prior to sundown on the day prior to collection. All containers shall be removed from curb within such collection day.
Starting December 1 2018, only the items in the following flyer will be allowed in the residential recycling carts.
